Using an ITC app did we make contact with spirits of Blue Bell Hill?
We feel we made some valid contact while live at Kits Coty site just yards from Blue Bell with EVP & ITC equipment.
General information :
Bluebell Hill is a chalk hill that runs through the towns Rochester and Maidstone; it overlooks the River Medway and is a part of the North Downs Settlements of the hill which include places such as Walderslade and the Kit’s Coty villages.
Between the eighteenth and nineteenth century the hill was used to quarry chalk.
Famous features of Bluebell Hill are the ‘Medway Megaliths’ which are prehistoric tombs located on the hill. An example of one of these megaliths would be Kit’s Coty House.
There is a well documented car crash that happened 1965 between a Ford Cortina and a Jaguar killed 4 women - 1 instantly the others died as a result of their injuries acquired in the crash, one of the women killed a bride to be – due to be married a day after the fatal accident.
Ghost Sightings
There have been many sightings on Bluebell hill; reports of a ghostly looking monk have been seen on Bluebell Hill as early as the 1930’s, however due to sightings nearby there are those that believe he is spiritually tied to the area in general and not just the road system.
Also during the 1930’s reports were made of a ‘ghost hitch-hiker’ who would completely vanish as she got out of the vehicle. The area of the road situated on Bluebell Hill which is known as the area with the most paranormal activity, has had reports of drivers looking in the rear-view mirror and seeing a young woman sat in the back of the car, once they looked round she had vanished even though there was no possibility of someone being in the back seat as the car had not stopped to let anyone in, nor were there any passengers to begin with.
At around midnight on the 8th November 1992 a coach driver named Ian Sharpe, reported to police, that he had hit and run over young girl on the Aylesford junction of the A229 road on his way home from work. He told police that he saw her short distance away from his car on the outer lane and that she has looked straight at him and ran towards the path of his car. Once he hit her he instantly got out of the car to make sure she was still alive, and that he had covered her with a blanket and moved her to the side of the road while he sped off to get the police. Once they had arrived back at the scene the police searched the area and the surrounding woods but couldn’t not find her and found no evidence of any kind of accident there was no blood, no damage to the car, just the blanket on the side of the road. This is very well documented. Many believe this is of the bride to bed killed in the tragic accident in 1965.
There have also been reports of sightings/incidents of a young girl wearing all white, with the age being told as young as 10 up to 14 years old similar to that of the accident Ian Sharpe reported– though people are thought to be this, and the bride to be could be the same ghostly apparition purely misjudged in the panic of the ‘accidents’, however it is completely possible that these are in fact 2 completely different spirit people.
